Anandam 2015: A Picture Story

We hosted the second edition of Anandam, a fundraiser bazaar to raise funds for elderly on Oct 31, 2015 from 11 am to 7 pm at St Mark’s Cathedral Grounds, MG Road, Bangalore. We have to say it was our lucky day. The Rain Gods stayed away, despite occasional showers lashing the city; We had a great mix of crowd from various parts of the city – Banashankari to Bellandur and some fabulous entertainment acts. What made our day was to see several senior citizens from various organizations like NRIPA & Nightingales Trust, who have been to some of our earlier events, make an effort to come. We thank them and everyone else who came, saw and supported us from the bottom of our hearts.

The aim of Anandam is celebrating life with elders and families. It was our way of giving our elders a day that is specially focused on them and bridge the gap between the young and old through a bazaar. Anandam also showcased works by senior entrepreneurs. Here are glimpses from the day and the promise of many more such occasions with our elders. We shall keep adding pictures over the next few days, as they come in. Enjoy!
